THE ROLE

Elevate has recently secured a super exciting 5 year project with a world famous clothing brand, we will be the exclusive staffing partner working with this brand at one of the most prestigious sporting events globally!

The HR Manager role will have the below responsibilities working to successfully deliver this high profile and exciting project.

This role is a full time permanent position and works within our current hybrid working structure, where you will be expected to be present within our office in London at a minimum 2 days per week. There may be some occasional travel required with this position so you must only apply if you are comfortable with some International travel. This role is primarily working Monday to Friday, however your days may need to fluctuate during the weeks when we have a live activity to include some weekends throughout the year so you can best support the team.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • HR lead for all HR matters related to this exclusive project.
  • Reporting directly into the HR Director, update share and communicate key HR issues and strategy with this project, plus active involvement in wider HR projects at Elevate.
  • Liaise with Partner Agencies to ensure local employment law and HR best practice is followed when operating in global markets.
  • Drive our DEI agenda across the business, actively developing ways to ensure we are always inclusive, training our team appropriately, recruiting diversly and growing in this area.
  • Act as HR lead for any grievance and disciplinary cases as they arise on this project, effectively ensuring all cases are reviewed in a timely manner and to a high standard in line with local employment law.
  • Setting up HR issue and escalation processes when issues arise on site during live days.
  • Administer and oversee all areas of the people life cycle including, but not limited to, contracts, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, offboarding and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance. Both internal and field staff teams.
  • Health and Safety management for all matters relating to this project.
  • Working with the Finance team ensuring payroll data is processed accurately.
  • Employee morale strategy and implementation.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management
  • Active involvement in HR projects.
  • Being first point of contact during live dates for any potential escalation or support required.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
  • Knowledge of employment law in UK, France, Germany, US
  • Experience managing grievance and disciplinary cases from start to finish
  • Resourceful, problem-solving attitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
  • Proven experience working in a HR department
  • Experience building and cascading HR policies and procedures
  • Experience partnering with external agencies in multiple markets
  • Comfortable with some International travel
  • Interest in sport would be a bonus
  • Flexibility in working days during live activities to best support the team, this may require working during weekend days occasionally.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

This role offers a salary between £30,000 - £38,000 per annum depending on experience.
